Greg was recently invited to take part in a short debate about church and politics on Minnesota Public Radio.

Recently, MinnPost, a Minnesota news web site, published an article exploring the question, What should the role of the faith community be in helping the poor? In the article, they talk about our upcoming interfaith forum on Suburban Homelessness.

Earlier this year, Greg was interviewed for the Canadian television show 100 Huntley Street. He talked about the Kingdom of God is and why it is so important and also spoke about his books Myth of a Christian Nation and Myth of a Christian Religion.

Some hold that God forgives us only when we repent and that we are therefore called to withhold forgiveness until an offender repents. Others teach that God forgives us unconditionally and that we are called to do the same. As you might expect, both sides can marshal an impressive array of scriptural support for their views.

Greg recently did a short video interview with Altar Video Magazine. He talks about God’s sovereignty, what breaks his heart and what gives him hope. Watch the entire interview on Altar Video’s web site.

In his new book, “Thieves in the Temple: The Christian Church and the Selling of the American Soul, ” author Jeff MacDonald asks the question, how do we practice an authentic faith in a world of consumer-driven congregations? While writing and researching the book, he visited Woodland Hills and interviewed Greg.

David prays that his enemies would be buried alive (Psa. 55:15) and celebrates the prospect of watching people smash the heads of his enemies’ babies against rocks (Ps. 137:9). We evangelicals certainly want to believe “the whole Bible,” but does this mean we’re required to pray like this?
