Gathering the Embers is a time of fervent prayer, joyful worship and listening to the Holy Spirit on behalf of one another and Woodland Hills in general. We meet every first and third Saturday of the month for a time of prayer and worship following the Saturday evening service.
The May Gathering the Embers nights are on May 5 and 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gathering Area.
Why Embers?
Spread out, the embers of a fire still glow and burn, but when gathered together, they become something far more. A fire can spring forth from gathered embers, creating dancing flames that reach farther and burn brighter than individual embers could ever do on their own. Fire is reignited with the gathered embers, and something new begins.
Powerful things happen in God’s Kingdom when the body of Christ gathers to pray and to praise His name. If you feel led to pray on behalf of Woodland Hills and desire to spend time in reflective worship, we invite you to join us!

For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.
– Matthew 18:20
Light the fire, in my soul. Fan the flame, make me whole.
Lord you know, where I’ve been. So light the fire in my heart again.
