Immerse is the 20something ministry of Woodland Hills (people range from age 18 to their early 30′s). Some folks are single, some are married. Some have kids and some don’t. Our passion is derived from Romans 6, “Throw yourselves whole heartedly and full time into God’s way of doing things.”
We generally meet the 2nd Saturday of every month from 7:00-9:00 p.m. for our monthly Gatherings. At each Gathering we’ll join together for a time of worship, have a brief message and then spend a good chunk of time in discussion. Of course there will always be food and we guarantee that you’ll be more than just a number in a crowd. Through our Monthly Gatherings and weekly small groups we strive to create environments that will foster Godly connections and community.
Transition is the main theme of 20somethings – it’s a fun, exciting, lonely, and often difficult time. In the midst of the job, school, housing, and relationship changes you need some community and a place to work through everything that’s going on in your life. We won’t give you a 3-step process or some cut and paste answer for your life but we will raise issues that you’re dealing with and help you dialog through them. At Immerse, we think it’s really all about living in the midst of our questions instead of finding the right answers. Come get connected!
