Wednesday Echo Service
During the school year 7th-12th grade students gather on Wednesday evenings at 6:30-8:00 p.m. We start out with a hang out time in our team rooms, followed by worship and teaching and wrap up with a dialogue time discussing the teaching. If you’re new to Echo, this is a great time to visit and learn what we are all about.
Journey Groups
Journey Groups are small groups designed for deeper spiritual exploration and relational community. Each Journey Group includes students, a student leader and an adult leader. Younger Journey Groups (7-9 grades) are same gender and older Journey Groups (10-12 grades) are same gender or mixed, based on the student’s preference. Journey Groups for 7-9 graders meet immediately after Echo services, from 8:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights. Journey Groups for 10-12 graders happen during Sunday night House Groups. All groups kick off the year at the Journey Group Retreat in October.

House Groups
In addition to the Wednesday night gathering for 7-12 graders, high school students are invited to participate in House Group, a gathering specifically designed for 10-12 grade students. We meet weekly during the school year on Sunday nights from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Our time together is spent looking deeper into God’s Story, sharing in discussion and prayer and enjoying one another’s company. Journey groups also meet during this time, alternating weeks between storying and journey group time.
Catalysts
Students in grade 11-12 are invited to apply for the Student Catalyst Team. Student Catalysts are part of the Echo leadership team, serving alongside staff and adult volunteers to help give leadership to their ministry.
Catalysts help in the planning and development of service and events. They help lead journey groups for 7-9th grade students as well as their peer groups (10-12th grades). Catalysts give time each week to volunteer, help implement the Wednesday and Sunday night Echo gatherings and meet once monthly with their staff mentors.
