On-Site Partnerships

Over the years we’ve made an effort to use our building in ways that serve our community. Sometimes, the best way for us to do that is to open up space to other organizations who are trying to do similar things. We don’t want to reinvent any wheels!

Here are some partnerships we’ve developed and some of the work we’re doing to expand God’s Kingdom in our neighborhood:

Food Shelf

Our public food shelf grew 30% in its first 18 months of operations and serves local families in need.

Day Care

85% of the families qualify for free or reduced school lunches; enrollment has grown 115% since opening in 2012.

Job Skills Program

Woodland Hills owns the Plaza Theater, which is staffed by local young adults who participate in a job skills and mentoring program. We host 13 local elementary schools for family movie night fundraisers each month and we work with the Union Gospel Mission to provide movie outings as part of their client incentives.

Homeless Response System

This innovative program serves as the access point for families to coordinate housing services between a number of programs and organizations.
Coordinated Access to Housing & Shelter, in collaboration with Catholic Charities and Ramsey County.

Temporary Homeless Shelter

We are one of a number of host churches who open our doors to provide emergency shelter for families in Ramsey County for a month at a time.
