Ryan & Molly Nielsen Puebla, Mexico

Ryan & Molly Nielsen
The Nielsens are full-time missionaries serving Living Hope International in Puebla, Mexico. Living Hope is a residential youth home for orphaned, abandoned and hurting children which has about 100 children under its full-time care. They moved to Puebla in October 2003 to begin serving. A little over a year later, in November 2004, they quickly returned to Minnesota when their son, Josiah, was diagnosed with Leukemia, a cancer of the blood. For the next three and a half years, the Nielsens served as stateside representatives for the organization, while Josiah went through over three years of chemotherapy treatment. Josiah finished treatment in January 2008 and has only a small chance that the cancer will ever return. PRAISE GOD! The Nielsens returned to Puebla, Mexico in September 2008 to continue the call God has place on their hearts – to “serve the least of these” (Matthew 25:40).
