Servanthood Communication

Start Date: Nov 01, 2021

Is it possible that our default habits of speaking and listening end up serving ourselves more than serving others?  By understanding the servanthood mindset of Christ as presented in the famous ‘kenosis’ (emptying) passage of Philippians 2, participants will learn communication skills for dealing with hard conversations, hard personalities, and hard situations. By seeking humility and unity in our relationships, we end up deepening our own spiritual formation!

Monday evenings, 7-8:30pm CT

Class Format: Online via Zoom
Duration: 4 weeks
Instructor(s): Ted Lewis

Ted Lewis (of Duluth) is a restorative justice trainer and consultant with the Center for Restorative Justice & Peacemaking, University of Minnesota. "So many thanks for your wonderful messages and all you give to the world around you. I'm retired in Ecuador with no churches so really appreciate your online presence. So many Christians discourage questions, so this is refreshing, as are the Q&A sessions."
