Spiritual Practices for Anxious Times

The past year-and-a-half has been a wild ride for all of us. This four-week class is an opportunity to take a breath and re-center with God. In our time together, you will have an opportunity to examine your image of God, put aside space to engage various spiritual practices, and connect with other Woodland Hills attendees. If you’re hungry for new ways to connect with God and actually have the space to do it, this class is for you.

Melissa Johnson (Kucharski) is a Marriage and Family Therapist, certified Spiritual Director, and teaches a course on soul wellbeing at Bethel University. Melissa also hosts the Impossible Beauty Podcast and Blog (, where she invites listeners to redefine and rediscover true beauty. In short, she believes we are most fully alive when we are able to connect deeply with God, others, and ourselves. She finds it an absolute pleasure whenever she can play a role in nurturing those connections.
