At Woodland, one of the weekday sounds we love best is kids laughing and chattering in the south end of our building. This happy ruckus comes from the rooms of Close to My Heart daycare.
Close to My Heart is a licensed and accredited preschool with a play-based curriculum—thus all the laughter! In a time when it is hard to pay for child care, Close to My Heart plays (no pun intended!) a vital role in our community by providing an affordable option.
On Saturday, October 10 from 12-3pm, Close to My Heart is holding a “Family Fun Day” fundraiser at Midwest Golf, just down the way from us, at 1815 Van Dyke Street. There will be food, face painting, and of course mini golf!
We love how Close to My Heart gives kiddos a safe, nurturing place to explore the world, and we hope you can come support them!
