Woodland Hills has owned The Plaza Theater since 2001. In late 2013 we began managing the theater in collaboration with the Lift, a job skills and mentoring program for young adults.
Then, in 2020, The Plaza closed due to the pandemic lockdown and changes in the theater industry.
But we’re excited to be coming back Fall 2026 as the East Metro’s only second-run movie theater! We will be open on Friday nights and Saturdays, showing second-run movies and retro features. In the coming months we also plan to return to running operations with a new job skills program partnership.
