HEROES GATE
As our church’s version of “Sunday school” for kids ages 18 months to 6th grade, Heroes Gate is more than just a name—it is our calling as a ministry. We are passionate about teaching kids God’s story and understanding their place in it. We see parents as the main source of spiritual direction for children, so we are here to collaborate with and support what is happening in your family. Thanks for partnering with us to influence a generation to look at the world and the people around them in a loving and right-related way!
Sundays In-Person
Our church services happen Sundays at 10am, and for kids we have Heroes Gate! Please hold a spot for your kid(s) with the link below. Learn more about checking in on Sundays here.
Volunteer
Consider volunteering with the Children’s team on Sunday mornings! We have openings with all ages from birth-6th grade, various roles (leaders, music, acting, and welcome), with help needed just 1-2x per month.
You are key to helping Heroes Gate be a place where kids connect with others and with Jesus, so they can step into their lifelong role in God’s Amazing story! No experience required, just a willingness to build relationships with kids!

Family Rituals
Every family has rituals, from what you do at bedtime to eating your meals, your family has a pattern and a way of doing things. A team of Woodland Hills families has put together a mealtime and a bedtime ritual that will help you bring meaning and Jesus into these times with your family, and occasionally we host training sessions. Family Hangouts
A few times a year, we invite Heroes Gate families to gather together for a hangout session! These usually happen after a service, but not always. Check the upcoming events on the right side of the page, or reach out to our Children’s team at the email below to learn more!
