Woodland Hills offers counseling as a service to attendees in need. Lay Counseling, Care Partners and Crisis Counseling below are ministries of Woodland Hills. We also maintain a referral list of professional Christian counselors.
Woodland Hills’ Lay Counseling ministry is available for attendees that need ongoing counseling and are unable to access professional counseling due to lack of insurance coverage or limited finances. After an assessment, participants receive options for short- or long-term counseling as well as direction towards other resources within the Woodland Hills body or the larger community.
For more information contact Lauren Mau at email@example.com or at 651-287-2053. All contacts are confidential.
Sometimes we find ourselves in need of extra spiritual and emotional support from someone in the body. The role of a Care Partner is to be a companion to an individual going through a difficult situation by listening, being present, and offering compassion and encouragement. Visits are usually an hour every week or two.
If you need a Care Partner, please contact Anita at firstname.lastname@example.org or 651-287-2065. All contacts are confidential.
Crisis counseling with a pastor is available free of charge for one to three sessions. If longer-term counseling is needed, options are given for professional Christian counseling or our lay counseling ministry.
If you have a crisis requiring immediate pastoral assistance after business hours (death or critical illness/injury), you may call our crisis pager at 651-262-8961.
