Counseling

Woodland Hills offers counseling as a service to attendees in need. Lay Counseling and Crisis Counseling below are ministries of Woodland Hills. We also maintain a referral list of professional Christian counselors.

Lay Counseling

Woodland Hills’ Renovation Lay Counseling ministry is available for attendees that need ongoing counseling and are unable to access professional counseling due to lack of insurance coverage or limited finances. After an assessment, participants receive options for short- or long-term counseling as well as direction towards other resources within the Woodland Hills body or the larger community.

Currently, our lay counselors are continuing their work through online platforms such as Zoom and Google.

For more information contact Trista at tweber@whchurch.org or 651-287-2065. All contacts are confidential.

Crisis Counseling

Crisis counseling with a pastor is available free of charge for one to three sessions. If longer-term counseling is needed, options are given for professional Christian counseling or our lay counseling ministry.

If you have a crisis requiring immediate pastoral assistance after business hours (death or critical illness/injury), you may call our crisis phone at 651-262-8961.

For more information about Crisis Counseling contact please contact Rob at rkistler@whchurch.org or 651-287-3001. All contacts are confidential.

Professional Christian Counselors

Our Care Ministry maintains a referral list of many professional Christian counselors in the Twin Cities area. Many accept insurance or have sliding fee scales.

"I've been a WH podrishioner for several years now and I can't tell you how much it has changed my life. I came across these podcasts at a time when I was in an extremely unhealthy/abusive situation, and these teachings were immensely influential to me maintaining my faith and sanity. THANK YOU for showing me what a Jesus-looking God is like and what it means to follow Him. Many, many blessings to all of you!"
