Last Wednesday, our Echo students had their annual Echolympics event, in which Red vs. Blue teams take over the Gathering Area and engage in friendly competition!
Most kids dressed up in their team colors and got really creative with their outfits.
They participated in games such as: keepy uppy (don’t let the ball touch the ground), Super Smash Bros, sled racing, hockey, ping pong and synchronized gymnastics.
Although Red team won (!), both teams had great sportsmanship and we got many reports of kids encouraging the opposing team as well as their own.
