The Corner Shelf

The Corner Shelf, Woodland’s food shelf, provides weekly distribution of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and kitchen staples to the Greater Twin Cities area. Everyone is welcome.

Distribution days:

Wednesdays & Thursdays from 10-11:30am at Woodland Hills (Door C)

1740 Van Dyke St.
St. Paul, MN 55109
651-287-3000

How It Works:

1. Get your car in line by following food shelf signage throughout the parking lot.
2. Please remain in your car. Volunteers will come to each car to ask intake questions and explain the food shelf order form.

  • Families can visit the food shelf ONCE a week.
  • No documentation is required for intake.
  • You will be asked for your income as part of the intake process, but we will serve you regardless of your income.
  • Anyone in need of food is welcome, regardless of where you live.
  • You can do a “proxy pick up” for friends or neighbors who need food, but who are unable to come to the food shelf (up to five families).

3. Select your food choices by checking boxes on the food shelf order form.
4. Volunteers will collect the order from and shop your items for you inside.
5. When your order has been filled, volunteers will load the items into your car.

Due to high demand, The Corner Shelf may need to close early. We make every effort not to. We may also need to close if inclement weather occurs.

Please check The Corner Shelf Facebook page for info regarding closures. Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience!

Download order sheets:

Fill out your food order sheet at home and save time when you come for pickup! Please note that food availability changes daily, so only use the sheet for the day you’re coming to the Corner Shelf.

Thursday, February 12

Order sheets are typically available for download by 4pm the day before.

"I have found, in you, a place where the preached word profoundly resonates with my own recent journey of faith and has cemented a new way of thinking, I suppose like jigsaw pieces falling into place. I am grateful that a friend pointed me in your direction."
