Baptism Classes

We are hosting an all-church baptism on Sunday, July 25. In preparation for this momentous occasion, we’re asking those interested to attend a series of three baptism classes online on July 7, 14 and 21 from 7:00-8:15pm. If you don’t live in the Twin Cities, you can participate too! Find a trusted mentor or fellow believer in your circle to attend the online classes with you and they can do the honors of baptizing you. Read More

Digging Deeper Online

At Woodland, we believe we learn and grow best alongside others. Even during COVID, we’ve stayed active learning and connecting through online classes. Nearly 300 of you signed up to cultivate your head and heart knowledge with WH students from all across the map. Check out what our church body has been studying and applying to their daily lives.  Read More

2021 Ash Wednesday Drive-Thru

Each year, Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a special time set aside to intentionally focus on Jesus’ life, ministry, sacrifice and resurrection. In the past, we came together as a church for a simple meal and an interactive service to help us prepare our hearts for Good Friday and Easter. Though things look a little different this year, we still want to make space for reflection and active participation. Read More

13th Discussion Recap

Thank you to everyone who joined Greg and Osheta’s Zoom discussion for the 13th documentary. Over 100 of you participated! We hope it was helpful to process and wrestle together with this difficult topic as a church body. Greg opened up the discussion with his reaction to the film, saying, “It’s really powerful and it condenses so much in such a short span of time.” This was his second time seeing it and he was still struck by the stories and statistics. Cereal Box Love

A couple months ago, we put out the call asking for cereal donations to include in the Food Shelf’s “To Go” boxes, providing food for local families in need. The Naidl family heard this call and rallied together their community to provide 149 boxes of cereal. We are so thankful for their hard work and enthusiasm, and the same goes for everyone else who chipped in. As a church, we collected 300 boxes of delicious, and sometimes nutritious, cereal. testimonial-icon

"My almost-three-year-old asks every day if we can go to church. Thank you, Woodland Hills, and all the Heroes Gate volunteers for creating such a great environment for kids. My husband and I met at WH six years ago and now our son counts down the days until we get to go again. My heart could burst."
