Partnering During this Critical Time

Due to historic inequities, the work of local African American churches and ministries have been disproportionately impacted by the recent crises in our Twin Cities. By supporting the One Fund, we want to partner with our brothers and sisters to help ensure they can continue providing critical life-giving spiritual and practical service and support to their communities.

What is the One Fund?

Be the Church MN is the organization behind the One Fund, and our friends at Transform Minnesota are collaborators on the fund. They’ve summarized its purpose this way:

The One Fund was initially established to provide desperately needed support for our African American leaders, congregations, and ministries here in Minnesota who have been deeply impacted by COVID-19. Many are struggling to maintain staffing, basic programs, and community outreaches. These are our front-line co-laborers in under-resourced communities. Now they are even more stressed and stretched as they seek to minister and support the vulnerable communities impacted by the events surrounding the horrific death of George Floyd. Together we can join hands again and make both an immediate and eternal difference.

Our Goal

As a Woodland Hills church body, we were able to not only meet our goal of $25,000, but exceed it at $30,745! Thank you SO much for your help in supporting this critical work!
