Election Eve: Keeping Perspective

• Dan Kent, Greg Boyd, Shawna Boren

Leading up to and throughout this election season, many of us have been experiencing a wide range of emotions—things like fear, anxiety and frustration.

It can be easy to lose perspective, which is why on “Election Eve”, we held a special service, all about keeping our eyes fixed on King Jesus and his Kingdom, no matter the outcome of the election.

We want to remember who we belong to, where our citizenship is, and that our real hope is in Jesus—not in any particular candidate, political party or government.

Thank you for this service. I have been attending your church since the early 2000’s . We have since moved out of state but I always come back to Woodland Hills online when I need a safe church experience. I appreciate you all. Blessings from Oregon.

"Just a note of thanks. I came across the site, having heard Greg speak in Ireland many moons ago. The church here is a bit jaded, we have found. Groupthink, lack of going deep, fear, perhaps, of facing tough questions. [WH has] great sermons, and not just from Greg. Real food for a somewhat undernourished Irish Christian. Keep it up!
