Jesus was born and we celebrate this fact because God loved the entire world. We also celebrate Christmas because God loves each one of us in a specific way. God so loves the world and God so loves you individually that he sent his son.
It’s WH tradition to share a story with coloring pages for kids on Christmas Eve. This year we hear about Jack the donkey’s special journey in The Promised Star. Download coloring pages for your kids (or yourself!) at the link below!
Woodland Hills Church will forever be my home church, even though I am now in Washington. Thank you for the Word today, and thank you for continuing to help me see Jesus more clearly❤️❤️❤️ All my love, Mary
This sermon reminds me of this poem i once wrote.
You dont want me for anything but myself. You see me coming and run to me and kiss me over and over and i look at your head full of joy, I know, you want nothing from me but me.
What love is this, it is not in man, our Jesus Christ behold the Lamb. You never wrong me I wrong you. I dont have a bar of you for weeks and i talk behind your back, you know my sin. I am not faithfull to you one iota, yet You see me coming and run to me and kiss me and hug me over and over and when i look at your head full of joy I know, you dont want anything from me but me.
Such love invades the darkness, repentance the gift of God . Who? in an infinite lifetime would get killed to spare me the rod, and say, I love you dont you get it?
You kiss me over and over, I look at your head full of joy and know, You want nothing from me, but Me.
Thank you for sharing Rhonda.
