Woodland’s Arts Group is a collective of artists with talents of all types—poetry, painting, photography, pottery, collage, jewelry, song-writing, dance, design and more!
This weekend, the Arts Group hosted a trip to the Minneapolis Art-a-Whirl, an event bringing together hundreds of artists and showcasing an endless variety of art.
The outing was a chance not only to see great art, but to build community through conversation (and to get in steps for the day… with more than sixty locations it’s a lot of walking!).
Hannah Hiler, Woodland’s Graphic Designer, says, “It has stuck with me that there’s a real hunger for community at Woodland. The hope with events like this is to create more opportunities for connection around Kingdom creativity.”
