Jesus in Genesis
Start Date: Feb 06, 2025
Much of the Old Testament can be misunderstood or even distort our picture of God’s character unless we read it through the lens of the character and teaching of Jesus. Many of the familiar stories in the book of Genesis can come alive in new and exciting ways when we read them while asking the question: if Jesus is what God is really like, then what might this story mean?
In this class we will walk through the various stories in the book of Genesis through the “meta-narrative” story of the Bible, grounded in a fully Jesus-looking God.
Thursday afternoons, 12pm CT
Class Format: Online via Zoom
