We’ve exceeded our goal! Between physical coats and financial donations, we ended up with a total of 270 coats. Thank you for helping keep kids in need stay warm this winter!
As every Minnesotan knows, it’s about to get chilly around here! While many of us are able to bundle up nicely as the seasons change, we know some families struggle to buy warm coats for their children.
This year, we’d like to collect 200 new (or gently used) coats for elementary through high-school age kids.
These coats will go to three organizations:
- Close to My Heart, our on-site daycare partner
- Our Congolese partners serving refugee families: Golgotha Grace Church and Voice in the Wilderness
- The local chapter of the Salvation Army
Between October 1-15 you can drop coats off at Door B, or make a donation, and we’ll buy a coat for every $25 given.
Whether they’re waiting at the bus stop on an extra cold day or having a snowball fight, let’s help keep 200 kids warm this winter!
