In case you didn’t catch the sermon this past weekend, it’s worth watching! But here, we also wanted to share the update Greg gave regarding our leadership’s decision to not yet re-open for in-person services. This decision is rooted in putting cross-like love at the center of our calling as a church; Greg explains more in the video.
I just watched the sermon online. I feel alienated from church especially Woodland Hills. I’m trying to hang in there and get through this virus that has disrupted our lives. Please pray for me to have my spirit lifted through this time. Thank you.
Sorry to hear that Nate. Praying for God’s comfort and peace to surround you.
We have some great opportunities for you to get connected online.

Thank you for making this decision. Opening is premature with the new variants of COVID gaining ground.
I was so excited to hear Pastor Boyd speak to us about the importance of actually studying the Scriptures. I loved what He said; All Scripture points to Jesus! I believe that when we commit to studying the Scriptures daily His truth is revealed to us by the power of the Holy Spirit. Our relationship with Him is strengthen. I also believe that when we spend time in God’s Word every day keeps us grounded, reminds us of who we are, helps us to recall, every day, that Christ Jesus is always with us – even in our mess, our busy-ness, and in the stresses of life. “He is our Hope”
Thanks for sharing Mary! That’s encouraging.

Is there any kind of timeline for in-person services other churches have in-person services why not you?
I really miss being able to attend Saturday evening services at Woodland Hills! However, as a healthcare worker at a hospital, I can understand this decision. This pandemic, along with discovering I have a medical condition, has really tested my faith. I am keeping everyone at Woodland Hills in my prayers. Thank you for all that you do!
Hey Rachel, thanks for sharing. We miss you! We appreciate all of the hard work you put in as a healthcare worker. Praying you will continue to be encouraged in this difficult season.
Now that there are no restrictions on church services what’s the plan for weekend services?
Thanks for contacting us. The overseers will be meeting this week to discuss potential opening dates, so you can look for an update this Sunday. -Emily from the Communications Team
We love this church!
I was so impressed with the Message and the discussion group on Sunday! I love the Biblical Scholars we have at Woodland Hills. Have a blessed rest of your week.
In His Service.,
Mary
