This weekend our Catalysts—the high school student leadership team—participated in a retreat where they practiced hospitality through improv games and serving with our partner organization, Today’s Harvest (always a fan favorite). They also showed off their positivity and flexibility when plans had to shift due to unforeseen circumstances like the record high air quality numbers on Thursday!
Kara Banker, our Associate Pastor for Echo, says, “This group of student leaders shows up early each Wednesday to help set up, stays late after Echo to clean up and works hard to make the youth group a great place to be. Because of all that, it was fun to give them some time to be poured into as well—time to worship and learn together in preparation for the upcoming school year.”
