Each week our food shelf gives out about 105 boxes of food, and we recently hit a time where our food donations decreased at the same time that needs increased.
That’s where you came in. We asked you to help us bring in 3,000 pounds of food, but you went above and beyond and brought in a whopping 8,932 pounds!
This makes an enormous difference to the families that count on us for food during these tough times, and helps us continue to serve our community. Thank you!
If we still want to give a gift for the food shelf, how do we do it online?
Our online fund is now closed, but if you would like to mail a check, or drop it in the donation box on Sunday, write “food drive” in the memo section and it will go to the food shelf. Hope that helps! —Emily from the Communications Team
