Sermon Response Studio

Sermon Response Art Prompts:

Weeks 1-5 prompts

We’ve wrapped up the ‘Love Is’ sermon series and finished our last Monday with a sermon discussion. Thanks to everyone who participated in the Response Studios, and displayed at the Gallery! We’ll have a blogpost up soon with photos 🙂

Sermon Response Studio is a new initiative to synthesize sermon discussion into art! We’ll be meeting on Monday nights from 6-8pm to talk about Sunday’s sermon and make art in response. All skill levels and mediums are welcome.

Everyone who participates will be invited to showcase their work in a gallery showing on Sunday 10/27 after church.

This Sermon Response Studio will last for the duration of the “Love Is” sermon series, so join us for one or all of the sessions. If you can’t make it in person, we will be posting art prompts each week for people to respond on their own time.

The Response Studio isn’t just for capital ‘A’ artists—we want this to be a space where everyone can express their creativity. So if you’re on the fence, come! We hope to see you on a Monday night.

"It's been so supportive to have a journey group leader since 7th grade that I have made a lasting relationship with for 6 years. She has helped me grow in my faith and has been there to check in!"
