The seasons are changing, and as we head into the time of thanks and gratitude, we’d like to invite you to submit your creative work for our annual With a Grateful Heart event happening on November 17!
As per tradition, we’re planning a companion booklet to showcase each participants work. If you’d rather not share your work at the event itself, we’d still love to have you participate!
Your submission can be an existing piece or one created for this invitation, and should be sent to arts@whchurch.org no later than Wednesday, November 1! Please keep our general submission guidelines in mind.
Here are a few more guidelines:
Prose: Must be 600 words or less.
Poetry: Must be two pages or less.
Visual art: Physical piece(s) must fit through the doors at Woodland Hills. Please let us know if you’ll need an easel or table. Also remember to submit an accompanying photo that we can use for the companion booklet!
Performing arts: Must be 5 minutes or less.
We also encourage you to include a short Artist Statement with any physical piece.
