Age Groups
Infants Heroes Gate is open to all ages of children, even infants. Volunteers will love to hold and play with your infants, or take them for a sleepy stroller ride around the Heroes Gate hallways. Children’s Welcome Team
A Heroes Gate Welcome Team volunteer helps create a warm, welcome and safe environment for families as they come to church. Registration, safety at the door, and welcoming visitors are a few of the Welcome Team’s roles. Read More
Children’s Infant Room
Spend time with our infants during the Sunday morning services! Volunteers hold and play with the infants and take them for stroller rides around the Heroes Gate hallways. Read More
Children’s Tech Team Supervisor
Tech Team Supervisors are adults who have an understanding of technical equipment, and who also want to help our Tech Team (students grades 4th-12th) learn more about how to use and set up tech equipment. Read More
5th/6th Grade Small Group Leader
Club 56 small group leaders build relationships with the children in their class, helping them connect to each other, the lesson and worship. Read More
Children’s Team Leader
A Team Leader is an adult who ministers to a specific age group of children in Early Childhood or in Elementary. Read More
Children’s Special Needs Buddy
A Special Needs Buddy is an adult who assists a child needing moderate assistance to succeed in Heroes Gate each Sunday. Read More

Vibrant worship is an important value at Woodland! Passionate musicians and singers of all skill levels are the life force of our Worship Ministry, which happens in three services each week: Children’s, Youth and our main Saturday/Sunday services. Read More
