One of the events we look forward to every year is Martin Luther King, Jr weekend. As a church, we seek the kind of racial reconciliation and healing that Dr. King pursued in his life and activism.
Freedom Song movie night has been cancelled due to weather. Stay safe!
On Friday, January 17, we will screen the movie Freedom Song, a historical drama about students who used nonviolent grassroots activism to fight segregation in Mississippi. A short introduction by Greg Boyd and Stephanie Upchurch will precede the movie.
Our weekend services on January 18-19 will focus on Dr. King’s vision for a more Kingdom-like world. We will also feature an exhibit on the 60th anniversary of the Civil Rights Movement lunch counter sit-ins. We hope you join us!
