Operation Joy 2020

Operation Joy is an annual tradition at Woodland to provide gifts to families in need during the Christmas season. Getting Creative with Advent

The first Friday in December, we invited you and your family to participate in the Heroes Gate Advent Experience. This included a weekly devotional booklet, Advent crafts, and a special video from Giggles the Elf and her co-host George.

To kick off the experience, families created a special Christingle decoration. If you didn’t get a chance to learn what that is, we’ll catch you up to speed. In German, Christingle means “Little Christ Child.” Each part of the decoration represents the uniqueness of Christ and his great love for us. Read More
