Before I buy, I will ask, “How will I dispose of this when I am finished with it?”
When I answer I will be specific and truthful. For example, this will go to a landfill and release toxins for thousands of years as it degrades; or this will used by someone else who needs it. And I will consider can it eventually be completely consumed or biodegrade into useful nutrients or components.
