Must We Submit To Government?

• Greg Boyd

This week Greg taught on Romans 13, a Scripture that has been in the news recently when Attorney General Jeff Sessions used it as basis for why the American government is separating children from their families at the southern border. No no no; Romans 13 is not speaking of ALL governments; we’re not to give hitler and stalin a pass, based on these verses; It Only applies to us “Christian Nations”! 🙁

    1. Tzong-Huei says:

I think it will be important to define “Christian Nations”. Even with majority being Christians in a nation, it doesn’t mean everything done in this nation is in accordance to Christ’s teaching and heart.

      1. kevin says:

Hey brother; i was actually being sarcastic. You are correct; to claim that the U.S. is a ‘christian nation’ is boastful arrogance and pharisaical.

  2. Garrett says:

    Exodus 22:21 not Ezekiel 22:21.

"I have been blessed by the messages I’ve heard, especially your teaching on Revelation. I sense the Holy Spirit’s presence and it has made a difference in my life. I’ve experienced some grief recently and the prayer in Ephesians has been a great help as I experience healing."
