In New Age philosophy, the ultimate authority for determining truth is personal experience. Demonic forces have the power to give people supernatural experiences (soul travel, channeling, crystal power, predicting the future, and many more). Because these experiences are so vivid and real, it’s hard to convince people that this way is not the way of truth. That is what the Apostle Paul means when he warns us not to be “taken captive to hollow and deceptive philosophy” (Colossians 2:8). These vivid experiences blind people to the truth.

But, nothing can compare to God’s power. People are questing after real spiritual experiences. As Western Society is becoming more open to believing in the spiritual realm, both good and evil spiritual forces are rising to the occasion. The increasing demonic activity may look frightening to us, but in fact it is a great opportunity. Now that people are willing (and wanting) to believe in something, we can show them the power of God. Whatever supernatural experience demonic forces can offer people, God does it better.

"I have found, in you, a place where the preached word profoundly resonates with my own recent journey of faith and has cemented a new way of thinking, I suppose like jigsaw pieces falling into place. I am grateful that a friend pointed me in your direction."
