    Great stuff

On Judging: Greg thanks! ++ This was extremely helpful for me.

“You can distinguish between things – vertical – but you’re not allowed to separate yourself from a person – put yourself above them so you’re looking down”.

Triumph (lord) over folk: – a second thought on who and what to judge

The apostle Paul foresaw something that was coming and in II Timothy 3:1-5 warns.

“But know this that in the last day’s perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, – [having a form of godliness] – but denying its power. – [And from such people turn away]”!

I consider this passage is not talking about unbelievers.

Paul never tells us to stay away from unbelievers because of their sins. We are to be the influence of salt and light upon them. But when these sinful attitudes and practices, above, emerge among people who call themselves Christians, Paul commands us to turn away from them!

Strong medicine for a deadly disease!

When we preach the guilt and condemnation of unbelievers, while we remain the same, do we really believe that the bride of Christ will rise to meet us on that glorious day with all that stuff, above, still in our back pockets?

Have we substituted walking in the authority of HUMILITY, self-denial, and the power of the Holy Spirit with intellectual and rhetorical skills, a rationalized anemic form of Christianity?

A defended Christ is different from a demonstrated Christ.

When intellectual power leads to Social polarizations we are able to exercise that power to create arguments and logical systems that dismantle the arguments and analytical systems of our opponents; – then we are also able to establish our triumph (lord over) them.

Comment for Paul Eddy…..Jesus said that God was our “Abba Father” which I understand is equivalent to Daddy. Several days ago, the Lord told me I could call him Lord or Father if I wanted but he would prefer a more family name like Dad or Daddy, since I was a son. I tried Daddy for a couple of days but that didn’t seem to fit so I switched to Dad. And WOW, that affected me and makes Dad happy too. I feel more family oriented. Actually, a couple of days ago, Dad had me praying for some things that would affect a lot of people and after finishing, I thanked him for guiding me and helping me by his Spirit. His response was “that is just family business.”
