The Set-Apart Kingdom

• Cedrick Baker, Greg Boyd

Greg Boyd and Cedrick Baker highlight the difference that the kingdom of God makes and how it contrasts with the kingdoms of this world. They help us understand how the two kingdoms often are combined, which means that the kingdom of God becomes something other than what it should be. Greg and Cedrick also provide some insight into ways that we can practice kingdom distinctives in our everyday lives. wh-bug

  1. Sarah says:

About time someone brings up the thorn of nationalistic ideology [or in this situation, IDOL-logy!] Even those in our faith admit that churches in America, (whether passively quiet or extreme idol-logy,) are the ones contributing to the chaotic state in this country!

“I was trained to be prepared to be attacked by my country for my faith. I WASN’T trained to be prepared to be attacked by my CHURCH for my faith!” –Phil Vischer*
