What’s Up (On the Roof)?

Posted on

We’ve had our building a bit over 25 years and during that quarter century it’s gotten a few metaphorical gray hairs. The part showing its age the most is the North End portion of the roof. While we’ve stayed on top of roof inspections and repaired as needed, it’s time for a facelift (roof-raise?)!

This project came out at just over $400,000, so to make sure we don’t entirely drain our building improvement fund the Trustees approved a five-year commercial loan for $310,000. We are praying that we’re able to pay it off in three years—please join us in that prayer!

The roof work started October 6 and was recently completed.

A North End roof may not be as pretty as a North End rain garden, but it’s just as important!
