Join Greg Boyd and Osheta Moore on Zoom for guided prayer and discussion based on the documentary 13th. This thought-provoking film explores the intersection of race, justice and mass incarceration in the United States. Its title was inspired by the thirteenth amendment abolishing slavery and involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for conviction of a crime.
At Woodland, we are a community that believes in wrestling with difficult topics, including racial justice. However, please be aware that this film is rated TV-MA and is intended for mature, adult audiences. It grapples with heavy and emotionally distressing content. If you’re able, you might find it helpful to watch and process with friends and family. We also suggest praying before and after.
