HEROES GATE WELCOME COORDINATOR
This person would have a strong ability to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and work well with volunteers. This position requires well developed interpersonal skills and good communication skills – both written & verbally. This candidate is enthusiastic and has a positive attitude toward helping others. Being able to demonstrate the ability to solve problems and think strategically is essential. The Welcome Coordinator’s area is the first impression new people have of HG and should create an atmosphere that is welcoming, warm, inviting, and helpful. This area is a central hub of connections for new families, volunteers checking in, and recruiting/placing new volunteers into HG ministry roles and this person would be vital in having it thrive so that the rest of HG can also flourish. This person would benefit from being gifted with discernment and organizational abilities.
