Blanket Making Party

Posted on

This holiday season, let’s offer the gift of warmth to families experiencing homelessness by making fleece blankets!

From 6:30-8:30 on December 11 (during Wednesday Together), we will transform the Gathering Area into craft central with all the supplies needed to make 40-60 no-sew fleece blankets for our neighbors in need.

Christmas music, cookies and coffee will keep us crafting away, so come hungry for a treat and ready to sing along while you work. This is a family-friendly event, kids of all ages are welcome!  If you have it, please bring a pair of scissors and a suggested donation of $10 to put towards supplies, but do not let cost keep you from the fun. We hope to see you there 🙂

Hi, my kids (ages 9 & 11) & I will be coming to this. We have never done it before but it sounds like that’s ok. Do you need more cookies? I can bring some if that would help.
    Thanks for this opportunity.

Hi Tina! You sure can bring cookies and your kids are the perfect age for the party. Looking forward to having you there.
