No more toilet paper?

Well, not really! Our family has switched to sustainable bamboo ‘paper’ products like toilet paper, paper towels and wipes. Bamboo paper is vastly more sustainable than wood paper. For instance, one roll of bamboo tp contains no wood and takes less than 1 gallon of water per roll to produce. Bamboo regrows in 1-2 years. Regular toilet paper contains 1.5 lbs of wood per roll and takes 37 gallons of water per roll to produce. Trees take 30 years to grow.

Our family uses Caboo products but some others are Grove Co., Betterway, Reel and Cloud Paper.

Also, we installed a bidet which helps use even less paper.

"We have been podrishioners for several months. Our daughter, son-in-law and grandkids moved back to California after living in MN for 10 years. They attended Woodland Hills for about a year before they moved. Now we all go to the beach together on Thursdays, come home and have dinner together, then we watch last Sunday’s sermon together. It is a special day for our family."
