Everyday Influence

Posted on

Evangelism: Jesus did it, showed his followers how to do it, and commissioned us to keep doing it. The work of inviting people into apprenticeship to Jesus has been the responsibility of Jesus’ followers in every generation, often at great cost. In our day, evangelism can hardly be talked about without stirring strong (often negative) emotions. Still, our call to invite people to become disciples of Jesus could not be more important. It is the everyday way that the Kingdom of God advances, one life at a time.

Our Everyday Influence series runs February 13 though March 20.

Discussion Tables

A great way to participate in this series is to join a weekly Discussion Table to have deeper conversations about the weekend sermons. Tables meet for six weeks; Tuesdays, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Gathering Area. Free childcare is available.

If you’re interested in signing up as a group member, please fill out the following form: Join a discussion table (under ‘Select Your Class’ choose ‘Everyday Influence Discussion Tables’).

"We have been podrishioners for several months. Our daughter, son-in-law and grandkids moved back to California after living in MN for 10 years. They attended Woodland Hills for about a year before they moved. Now we all go to the beach together on Thursdays, come home and have dinner together, then we watch last Sunday’s sermon together. It is a special day for our family."
