Tiny Home Project

In 2018 we partnered with Settled, an organization working to build tiny homes for people experiencing long-term homelessness. Tiny homes are part of a nationwide movement to address homelessness. They are cost-effective, safe, beautiful and eco-friendly. Plus, they are a great way to love our neighbors! As a part of our 2018 holiday fundraiser, we raised $25,000 to build Settled’s … Read More

Serving the Homeless

Since 2014, Walking With A Purpose has gathered clothing, food and camping supplies and given them directly to our chronically homeless neighbors in the St. Paul area. WWAP spends time building relationships with people, finds out what their needs are, and assists them with love and compassion. Since 2018, Walking With A Purpose has used space in our building to store supplies and be a “home base” as … Read More

Update on Congolese Refugees

This year, 15 Congolese families bracing for their first sub-freezing weather came to our partner organization, Voice in the Wilderness, with a request: “We hear it’s going to be cold, and we’re a little nervous. The story doesn’t end there, though. We’ve since learned that our Congolese sisters and brothers need our help in a new way. Read More
