Staying Connected

Posted on

As we head into new seasons, we recognize how important it is to stay connect and grow alongside others. Although COVID is still relevant in our lives, we’re still active as a church, even if virtually. We hope you take advantage of our mix of online or in-person ministries that aim to help us all learn and grow together!

  • We are currently holding one service each Sunday at 10am CT – live-streamed at 10am as well. More info here.

  • Lay Counseling: Ongoing counseling for those unable to access professional counseling.
  • The Refuge: Support groups for a variety of needs.
  • Prayer: Prayer requests, prayer groups and individual prayer.

  • Heroes Gate: Ministry for kids 18 months to 6th grade. Interactive videos also posted each Sunday.
  • Echo: Youth ministry for 7th-12th grade. Meets Wednesday evenings.
  • Vessels: Young adult ministry for 18-20s. Meets Monday evenings.

A few weeks ago Osheta mentioned a book club discussion on “Uncomfortable Conversations With A Black Man” by Emmanuel Acho. I’ve been looking for an announcement about this so I could sign up but can’t find anything. Will this still be taking place?

Why isn’t there a bible study for women? I’m looking for a bible study or how to know God with the help of others.

    1. Emily says:

      Hi Melissa,
In the past we have offered different women’s ministry opportunities. That is currently on hold, but keep an eye out for future changes!

  5. Kevin says:

Emily; we’re expecting/hoping that you might host a Zoom group for us single folks, to share our poor piteous condition LOL
Think about it? Make it co-ed?
    Food for Spiritual thought. Thanks

"I've been a WH podrishioner for several years now and I can't tell you how much it has changed my life. I came across these podcasts at a time when I was in an extremely unhealthy/abusive situation, and these teachings were immensely influential to me maintaining my faith and sanity. THANK YOU for showing me what a Jesus-looking God is like and what it means to follow Him. Many, many blessings to all of you!"
