Mark serves with Novo; a band of creative missionaries sent to multiply movements of the gospel and mobilize the church for that mission around the world. Mark functions as Director, Empowering Leaders, Novo, overseeing the Empowering Leaders division of seasoned Novo staff dedicated to developing ministry leaders, strengthening churches and global church planting.
Melinda serves with Orphanos. She founded The Harbor in 2001 and served as its Executive Director until 2015. The Harbor was the first transitional care program of its kind for orphans in St. Petersburg, Russia. Melinda completed TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention) Educator Training in 2015 at Texas Christian University. She now trains and consults on trauma informed therapy and The Harbor model of residential care with those working with orphans or foster kids in any capacity. Her training of TBRI principles has been enthusiastically received in the U.S., Russia, Ukraine, Mexico, Bolivia, and additional countries.
