Nick and Madeleine Avignon are the directors and co-founders of Communities Organizing for Haitian Engagement and Development (COFHED). They provide Christian discipleship and train community service leaders in development areas such as disaster preparedness, microfinancing, health and nutrition and water sanitation.
Right now, COFHED is partnering to launch a program called Kore Tifi (Power to Girls) which teaches families how to protect and defend themselves from predators and abusers.
