Is it Sacrilegious to Imagine Jesus Answering My Questions?

NERDINESS:

When praying, I sometimes imagine Jesus sitting in another chair across from me. If I'm making a specific request, I then exchange chairs and visualize or pretend that I am Jesus and I respond to myself verbally. I find this adds reality to the situation and often gives clarity to my requests but is this kind of sacrilegious?

How Can I Know God’s Will?

NERDINESS:

To discern God’s will, we begin with the conviction that God's central "calling" for all believers is to become progressively transformed into the perfect "image of God," who is Jesus, and this happens as we grow in the "four directions of agape-love"
