The Flock of the Lamb
Jan 05 2025 • Cedrick Baker, Dan Kent, Emily Morrison, Greg Boyd, Shawna Boren
In Chapter 7, we see the throne of the Lamb surrounded by an uncountable multitude of people. Every part of humanity is represented, free of division, embraced in God’s love and gathered in cascading circles of exuberant worship. Then we learn that the Lamb is also our shepherd. This vision fills us with hope as we look forward to the future when the Shepherd-Lamb will lead us, his flock, to life-giving water and wipe away our every tear.

In this sermon, Greg Boyd introduces the topic of what it means to be sealed by God. He explains that it pertains to the principle of God’s protection and God’s ownership of his people. We are protected in the sense that God is unconditionally committed to our salvation, we are owned by God because Jesus ransomed us from slavery to sin and Satan.
